A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) and Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) on 22 th November 2020 at NUB Corporate office for the purpose of expanding higher education and professional attachment with industry.
On behalf of NUB, Vice Chancellor of NUB, Professor Dr. Anwar Hossain signed the agreement. At the moment, Professor Dr. Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah, Honorable Chairman, Northern University Bangladesh Trust, Prof. Dr. Nazrul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor (D), Commodore M Monirul Islam (Retd) BN, Registrar, Mr. Saad-Al-Zabir Abdullah, Director IT, Prof. Dr. Javed Mahmud, Head Department of Business Administration NUB along with the faculty members and other officers were present in the ceremony.
On behalf of DCCI, President of DCCI, Mr. Shams Mahmud signed the agreement. Esteemed representatives of DCCI, N K A Mobin FCA & FCS, Senior Vice President, Mohammad Bashiruddin, Vice President, Afsarul Arifeen, General Secretary (acting), Md. Joynal Abidin, Secretary, Khodeza Begum, Principal, DBI and along with others also present on the occasion.
According to this MoU Northern University Bangladesh and Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be involved in different academic activities that will be mutually beneficial for both organizations like different certificate courses, Internship, joint research project on business and industry development in the country. The collaboration will bring positive outcomes for both NUB and DCCI.
