Session on Quantitative Analysis in EViews and RStudio was held by Professor Dr. Dipti Ranjan Mohapatra

Speakers said that use of econometrics is necessary for proper economic development especially when a world wide meltdown is going on. Experts said that all must refrain from mugging and corruption and Bangladesh economy is still in a good shape due to the Honorable prime Minister. They argued that the undergraduate programme of the Dhaka School of Economics may be Bachelor of Social Science with the area of concentration as Australian National University did not have any concentration area in Bachelor of Economics. Speakers also recommended those who sent malicious and fake letters to different persons through investigation they must be brought under law.

On 25th November ,2022 evening a training session online on aforesaid topics was held which was organized by the Entrepreneurial Economists club of Dhaka School of Economics which was established by Dr.Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad.

Professor Dr. Dipti Ranjan Mohapatra ,Amity College of Commerce and Finance, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, India was the Chief guest and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali ,Dhaka School of Economics was the session chair.

In the programme ,Professor Dr. Dipti Ranjan Mohapatra trained faculties and research scholars at free of cost so that they can learn and use Econometrics for the country’s further development. Prof.Mohapatra argued that econometric data can be used for human welfare.

Prof. Dr.Muhammad Mahboob Ali said as an ordinary supporter of our great leader Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh,we should work selflessly for which the economy of Bangladesh under high pressure of International recession has been still going on and Bangladesh economy can survive through use of right data and its analysis. Prof.Ali mentioned that as we are ordinary people and not any policy makers, we should start our work honestly , selfishly , ethically ,morally and with transparency.

In the programme Mrs.Rehana Parvin, Dr.Sara Tasneem, Shamim Ahmad of Dhaka School of Economics , Nawazeesh Muhammad Ali of University of Skill Enrichment and Technology were also spoke .Every participant enjoyed Dr.Mohapatra’s wonderful training online. Participation fee was free for which 99 participants can attend from different universities and university colleges,researchers and professionals.
